The Israel Coins and Medals Corporation (ICMC) has brought out a set of coins and a medal to commemorate the milestone:


The 70th Anniversary Coins issued by the Bank of Israel commemorate the exciting, historic milestone

The Obverse of the 10 New Israeli Shekel (NIS) Gold Coin shown above has the peripheral inscription - "INDEPENDENCE DAY 2018" and "Israel". In the centre is the denomination of the coin in numerals "10" and "NEW SHEKELS". The mint mark the symbol "Mem" appears below this. The languages used are - English, Hebrew and Arabic.

Two wavy lines - one above and one below the denominational value of the coin in the centre symbolise the Flag of Israel.


The Reverse of the Gold 10 New Israeli Shekel coin shows the official "Israel 70th Anniversary" logo with the Star of David in the centre. The figure "70", denoting the years of Independence of the State of Israel, blends with the Star of David. Along the base of the Star of David is the word "Israel" in Hebrew in Jewish scribe style, as it appears in the Holy Scriptures and beneath it, the words "Heritage of Innovation" in Hebrew, which together express the character of the State of Israel, a blend of tradition and innovative spirit.

Around the periphery on the right is inscribed "Israel's 70th Anniversary" in English, Hebrew and Arabic.

Among its special releases to commemorate Israel's 70th Anniversary celebration, the ICMC has released a State Medal highlighting the innovative spirit of Israel. 
 The Reverse of the Commemorative silver-plated medal


This face shows the Israel State Emblem and artistically expresses innovation in Israel through seven moving trails, signifying the seven decades of the State of Israel, on a background of binary language, blended with the Star of David. 




On the Obverse of the Silver plated Bronze medal the inscription on the lower periphery reads - "ISRAEL'S 70TH ANNIVERSARY -  1948-2018". The 70th Anniversary logo in colour has the Star of David in the background.
