1335) Postal History, Hungary: "Magyar Posta"(Hungarian Post) has issued its Fourth Series of Definitive Stamps on Postal History: Date of Stamps set release: 04.05.2020:

Magyar Posta has continued with its series of Definitive stamps on Postal History, which began in 2017 & issued the fourth set of Stamps on this interesting subject.

The Theme of the Stamps:

The Series of self-adhesive Definitive Stamps was a total face value of HUF 2,750 titled "Postal History" are issued annually and depict characteristic or unusual objects and work tools used by the Postal Service which typify a certain period.

The Theme of this Definitive stamps issue:

Of the precious artefacts of the Post Museum, postal objects and tools that were used during the period from the end of the Second World War, until the change of regime, and in some cases, thereafter as well, are presented in this stamp issue

These are - Postcode Guides (HUF 25), Mail Bag (HUF 225), Postman's Cap (HUF 350), Rural Letter-boxes (HUF  450), Postage Stamp Vending Machine (HUF 800) and Robur Van (HUF 900). 


                         The six Stamps


The First Day Cover (FDC) bears the six stamps at top right. The Special Cancellation Handstamp/Postmark is of Budapest and bears the Cancellation Date as - "04.05.2020".
