Europa Postage Stamps:
Europa Postage Stamps (also known as Europa-CEPT) - European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations - until 1992) are special stamps issued by European Postal Administrations/Enterprises and bear the official EUROPA logo, a PostEurop registered trademark under the aegis of PostEurop in which Europe is the central theme.
EUROPA stamps underline cooperation in the posts domain, aimed at promotion of philately. They also build awareness of the common roots, culture and history of Europe and its common goals.
As such, EUROPA stamp issues are among the most collected and most popular stamps in the world.
Since the first issue in 1956, EUROPA stamps have been a tangible symbol of Europe's desire for closer integration and co-operation.
In 1993, PostEurop became responsible for issuing EUROPA stamps.
When CEPT decided to focus more on telecommunications in 1993, PostEurop took over the management of the EUROPA issues. The CEPT logo was replaced by a new logo created by PostEurop i.e. the word "EUROPA" leaning towards the right hand side.

The Europa Stamp issue by Bosnia & Herzgovina (MOSTAR) Post on the theme "Ancient Postal Routes - Biga":
Roman legions were linked to Rome by roads on which the first postal service was carried out.
The Roman Messenger Service (RMS), initially called "vehiculatio" and later "cursus publicus", was founded by Emperor Augustus between 27 BC and 20 BC. It was initially limited to civilian and military civil servants.
Ordinary stations or "mansiones" were situated at the main road directions, where passengers could spend the night, as well as, stations where horses or other cattle ("mutationes") could be substituted.
During Emperor Septimius Severus reign (192 AD - 211 AD), the "cursus publicus" was divided into two parts - the fast ("cursus velox"), which had saddled horses, draft horses, mules and hinnies, and several types of carriages - two or four-wheelers, and the slow ("cursus claburalis"), which used heavy wagons which could transport up to 500.0 kilograms of cargo.
The Stamps:
The Miniature Sheet (MS) shows the two EUROPA stamps, which detail the two sides of a Silver coin, together with a wagon and a missive/letter in the form of a scroll
A wagon and a Silver coin of the Roman Consul L. Saufeius were chosen as motifs on the set of two Stamps depicting "Ancient Postal Routes".
On the Reverse, the coin shows Victoria driving a "biga" and on the Obverse, is depicted the head of the Roman goddess - Roma. The coin is kept in the Franciscan Museum of the Monastery of Saint Anthony in Humac, an area through which the very significant military road Salona (Solin) - Bigeste (Ljubuski - Narona - (Vid) has passed since the First Century.
The First Day Cover (FDC) bears a missive/letter in the form of a scroll at left. The military route locations taken by the post wagon for delivery of the letters, are also detailed at left.
At top right are affixed the two stamps issued in the set. The special Cancellation Handstamp/Postmark bears the image of a wagon in the centre. The Cancellation is dated - "05.04.2020".
