1067) Mount Kilimanjaro: 25 Dollars Silver High Relief Coin: The fourth coin in the 7-Summits Coin Series issued by the Cook Islands in co-ordination with Coin Invest Trust (CIT) and minted by B.H. Mayer's Kunstprageanstalt GmbH issued in 08/2019:

The 7-Summits included in this Coin Series have featured on several coins/Coin Series across the world, over the years. Coin Invest Trust (CIT) too has previously issued coins with mountains and flora as their themes.

At the recently concluded American Numismatic Association (ANA) World Fair of Money (WFM) held in Chicago, Coin Invest Trust (CIT) presented its large and diverse collection of 20 new releases covering a wide range of topics, shapes and designs.

The fourth Coin in the 7-Summits Coin Series showcases Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania (Africa),  which is considered to be the highest free-standing solid rock on Earth and one of the best known mountains around the World.

The Silver Coin depicting Mount Kilimanjaro in the 7-Summits Silver Coin Series, placed against the backdrop of the African Savanna, with tall grass, trees, two Giraffes, with a snow-topped Kilimanjaro Peak in the far background

Not only is Kilimanjaro an amazing natural spectacle with its 5895 metres (or 19,340 feet), it is an eye-catching masterpiece in the Tanzanian landscape.

The coins have been minted in breath-taking highly detailed, three-dimensional topographic relief with its exclusive "Smartminting" technology which is the hallmark of CIT's innovative silver coin minting technology, with a refined selective colour application that accentuates the mountain ridges and valleys. These coins are a beautiful and fascinating numismatic work of art. All the coins have been minted by B.H. Mayer's Kunstprageanstalt GmbH.

The Coin:

On the Reverse of the 25 Dollars Silver Coin is seen Mount Kilimanjaro from a bird's eye-perspective, its majestic heights cast in a three-dimensional topographic relief.

The coin reflects the green savanna, pure volcanic rock and ice-covered summit called "Kibo", with a refined partial colour  application.

The peripheral inscriptions are: "KILIMANJARO  5895 m - Eastern Rift Mountains, East Africa". On the lower periphery is mentioned the Series name - "The 7 SUMMITS".

On the Obverse of the 25 Dollars Silver Coin is seen an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right. The initials of the effigy designer "Ian Rank-Broadley" (IRB) appear below the Queen's neck. The peripheral inscriptions are - "ELIZABETH II, COOK ISLANDS, 25 DOLLARS, .999" (fineness).

The specifications of this coin are:
