The Bank of Russia has introduced a new 100-ruble bank note on 30.06.2022, which is completely different from the current Banknote for circulation, that features the Bolshoi Theatre.
At present, the ATMs in Russia are not configured to handle these new Banknotes:
The Banknote may not be introduced into wide circulation any time soon, because if it were it would be rejected by most of the country’s ATM machines.
The Western companies that service the machines, including NCR and Diebold Nixdorf, have all left the country in compliance with the US sanctions over Russia’s war with Ukraine.
The companies installed and maintained the machines and are now refusing to provide the updated software this new Banknote requires for them to be user compatible.
The Central Bank of Russia officials have informed that, it would take between six months to a year for Russia to update ATMs, point of sale terminals, and cash registers to recognize the new Banknotes, in case the vendors start working on the machines.

This Banknote has higher durability and upgraded security features.
The 82-foot-tall statue was dedicated by Vladimir Putin on 30.06.2020, in memory of the Soviet soldiers who died in World War II.
The battles that took place near Rzhev, 130 miles northwest of Moscow close to the Latvian border, between 08.01.1942, and 31.02.1943, were some of the bloodiest ones of the war.
Casualties were as high as 2.3 million combatants & civilians.
The battles are referred to as the “Rzhev Meat Grinder.”

The Front of the 100 Ruble Banknote showcases the main building of Moscow State University, the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin with chimes, the Zaryadye Concert Hall and the Floating Bridge, the Ostankino Tower and the Bank Seal along with the QR-code.
The Clock Tower depicts a time of 8.20, which corresponds to the Year of issue (2022) in the 24-hour format.

The colour of this Banknote is Orange, Olive Green, and Purple.
The Spasskaya Tower (translated as "Saviour Tower"), is the main tower on the Eastern wall of the Moscow Kremlin which overlooks Red Square.
The Spasskaya Tower was built in 1491 by the Italian architect Pietro Antonio Solari. Initially, it was named the Frolovskaya Tower after the Church of Frol and Lavr in the Kremlin, which is no longer there.
The tower's modern name comes from the icon of "Spas Nerukotvorny" (translated as "The Saviour Not Made by Hands"), which was placed above the gates on the inside wall in 1658 and removed in 1917. The tower is also named for the wall-painted icon of "Spas Smolensky".
Zaryadye Park is a landscape urban park located adjacent to Red Square in Moscow, Russia, on the site of the former Rossiya Hotel. The park was inaugurated on 09.09. 2017 by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Moscow's Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.
Time magazine included Zaryadye Park on its 2018 list of the “World's Greatest Places”.
Within the Park is the Zardadye Concert Hall with an Amphitheatre.
The building under a glass dome with an organ and a stage-transformer is a multifunctional concert venue. The building is set into the hill and it is possible to walk along its roof. Only the glass facade remains open.
The new Philharmonic replaces the concert site of the demolished Rossiya Hotel, on the site of which the park was built. It hosts symphonic music, as well as pop and jazz concerts.
The PMP Floating Bridge is a type of mobile pontoon bridge designed by the Soviet Union after World War II. The bridge's design enables for a quick assembly of its parts.
It has a carrying capacity of 60 tons.
The bridge was originally mounted on a KrAZ-214, but later transferred to a KrAZ-255. During the process of its deployment, a truck carrying the bridge is backed alongside the edge of a body of water.
The bridge is then rolled off where it unfolds automatically. The bridge spans 382 metres, load capacity 20 tons, or 227 m, load capacity 60 tons, with 32 river pontoons, 12 bridging boats and four shore pontoons.
Ostankino Tower:
Ostankino Tower is a television and radio tower in Moscow, Russia, owned by the Moscow branch of unitary enterprise Russian TV and Radio Broadcasting Network. Standing 540.1 metres (1,772 ft), it was designed by Nikolai Nikitin. As of 2022, it is the tallest free-standing structure in Europe and 11th tallest in the world.
Between 1967 and 1974, it was the tallest in the world.
The tower was the first free-standing structure to exceed 500 m (1,600 ft) in height. Ostankino was built to mark the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution. It is named after the surrounding Ostankino district of Moscow.
