1879) "Panorama - Trails", Principality of Liechtenstein: A set of se-tenant stamps issued by Liechtensteinische Post (Liechtenstein Post) featuring popular trails in the country's Mountainous Landscapes: Date of Stamp set issue: 07.06.2021:

About Panorama – Trails:

Some of the earlier themes from Liechtensteinische Post featured Nature Reserves, Mountain Landscapes and Expanses of Water.

This set of latest panorama stamps depicts some hiking trails etched into Liechtenstein’s mountainous landscape.

This small country’s network of roads comprises 130 kilometres of major roads, around 500 kilometres of minor roads and numerous cycle paths and footpaths.

In addition, more than 400 kilometres of well-maintained and sign-posted hiking trails wind their way across the distinctive mountain terrain.

The Principality of Liechtenstein thus has the densest network of hiking trails in Europe.

The Stamps:

A small selection of these hiking trails has been featured on the two new special stamps titled - "Upper Silum" and "Towards Gapfahl" (left and right, face value: CHF 1.00 each).

The area of the Silum Alp in Triesenberg extends from 1400 to 1700 metres above sea level and offers spectacular views of the Rhine Valley.

Below the Rappastein, in the midst of the imposing mountain range, lies the Balzner Gapfahl Alp at an altitude rising from about 1700 to just under 1880 metres.

The two panoramic views were divided in the middle, creating four stamps. They appear as a se-tenant on a sheet of eight.

A Miniatire Sheet(MS) of Stamps

A First Day Cover (FDC) is titled "Im Furstentum Liechtensten".

At top right are affixed the four se-tenant stamps issued in the set. The Special Cancellation Handstamp is of Vaduz Post Office and is dated - "07.06.2021".

A First Day Envelope (FDE)

A set of four Maxi Cards

A Maxi Card or Maximum Card has all three - the Stamp, the Picture and the Special Cancellation Stamp on the same face/side.
