The Postal Administrations/Services of Liechtenstein and Switzerland have coordinated to bring this joint stamp issue of two stamps.

The two stamps issued in the set - one is of CHF 0.85 and the other is of CHF 1.00  denominational values

The two special stamps included in this set were picked out from competitive entries submitted by three designers each from the two countries, who were invited to participate in a competition which had a multi-faceted theme titled "Social Diversity".

The Swiss Post is actively promoting this theme through three networks, which connect its employees throughout the Group and through one aspect of diversity - family, work and leisure, culture, language, sexual and demographic diversity etc.

Samuel Jordi from Zurich (CH) created a digital illustration to depict a wide variety of life situations with his winning design "Puzzle of Society" (Stamp face value - CHF 0.85).

The Drawing "Throng" (Stamp face value - CHF 1.00) by Luigi Olivadotti from Mauren (FL) shows a colourful collection of cheerful people.

Both the design motifs convey positive images and are characterised by tolerance, openness and modernity.
