The "Apple Blossom Egg" was one of Faberge's most famous works and the biggest Faberge Egg, which was created for Faberge's patron - Alexander Kelch - as a gift to his wife in 1901.
The jade egg was used as a jewellery box and is ornamented with blooming apple tree branches made of green jade, gold, silver, enamel and precious diamonds, which is how the egg got its name.
Coin Invest Trust has applied numerous State-Of-The-Art minting techniques to depict the "Apple Blossom" egg perfectly true to the original. Thanks the Smartminting technology, the egg rises three-dimensionally from the Proof-like surface of the coin. Branches and blossoms were designed with great care and an eye for detail. Delicate colourisation techniques imitate the original work's enamelled "Apple Blossoms".
With great care, the partial gilding that makes the branches shine with a gold lustre have been created on this coin, imitating the original piece of art.

Today, experts around the world consider Faberge eggs to be the highlight of Russian jewellery art. They are objects made of the finest materials and designed with masterly skill for a single objective - to present beloved persons with them at Easter, which was a Russian custom exercised by the entire population. Simple farmers made do with self-dyed eggs as gifts, wealthy citizens and noblemen of 18th Century Russia, used symbolic eggs made of wood, porcelain or precious metals as presents.
In 1885, the first Faberge Egg was created on the commission of Tsar Alexander III. This piece of art immediately became popular, so much so, that its legend/myth continues to fascinate people to this day.
Faberge Eggs are known as priceless treasures that were specifically made for Royalty and some of the wealthiest families in the world. There are only 49 of Faberge Eggs, whose location/ownership is presently known.
