In the recently concluded American Numismatic Association (ANA) World Money Fair (WMF) held in Chicago, Coin Invest trust (CIT) presented its large and diverse collection of 20 new releases covering a wide range of topics, shapes and designs.

The 2019 edition of the Meteorite Impacts Coin Series showcases Estacado (a 290 kilogram or 640 pounds) meteorite which was found in 1883 in Hale County, Texas, USA.

The Coin:

The Reverse of the Estacado-meteorite coin, exhibiting a piece of the actual meteorite in its cut-out tail is placed in this photograph, against an image of the blue Earth, as if the Meteorite coin is about to strike planet Earth 
The cut-out tail and an authentic/original piece of this meteorite create an amazing visualisation on this coin. Embedded on the coin is a piece of the extra-terrestrial meteorite, which makes this coin a unique and exceptional one.

For the first time ever, CIT has struck this amazing coin out of a special Titanium and Silver Alloy, which gives the coin design an out of this world look.

This coin is also the largest of this Coin Series and has an impressive diameter of 50.0 mm, while its weight has remained at 1/2 Oz, as the other coins in this Coin Series.

The Obverse of the Titanium-Silver 2 Dollars Coin shows a picture of the Big Bend National Park with the shiny Rio Grande River.

 Also seen on this face is a miniscule image of Queen Elizabeth II facing right. The peripheral inscriptions are - "ELIZABETH II. 2 DOLLARS. COOK ISLANDS. 2019" and "1/2 Oz Titanium Silver .925".
The Reverse of the Titanium-Silver 2 Dollars Coin shos a star-dust finish that represents space along with a colourised image of Earth.

 The inscriptions are "ESTACADO METEORITE. HALECO, TEXAS, USA, 1883".

A personal visit to a Crater Impact Lake at Lonar, Buldhana District, Maharashtra India:

Some time ago, we had visited the Lonar Crater Lake in Maharashtra, India which was caused by a meteor strike some 50,000 odd years ago (this is only the second one of two meteor strikes in India).

 We did pick up a few Meteorite stones/fragments, but did not bring them with us, leaving them in the places where we found them. Little did I realise that pieces of meteorites similar to the one that we left behind, would one day figure on Platinum-Silver coins issued by Coin Invest Trust (the Estacado meteorit strike) and the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC - celebrating its 150th year of establishment).
