1669) Metropolis Tiffany Art Coin Series features Paris the French Capital, Republic of Palau: Minted By: B.H. Mayer's Kunstprageanstalt GmbH at their facilities in Munich: Coin Coordinated By: Coin Invest Trust (CIT): Year of Coin issue: 2021:

Over the many years that the "Tiffany Art Coin Series" has been in existence, numerous advances in minting technology have allowed the series to elevate to new levels every year.

The new "Metropolis Tiffany Art Coin Series" starts with two stunning specifications. A 3.0 Oz Silver, 55 mm diameter Proof and an impressive 120 mm diameter silver kilo Edition that has been individually numbered. The silver kilo is presented on a designer stand that allows it to be an incredible eye-catching display piece. Mintage of the 3.0 Oz Silver Coin is only 999 and the mintage of the Kilo Silver Coin is  99.

The Reverses of the Silver $50 (Fifty Dollars) Kilo Coin placed alongside the Silver $20 (Twenty Dollars) 3.0 Oz Coin against a background representation of a bridge on the River Seine

The $20 (Twenty Dollars) 3.0 Oz Silver coin placed in its Presentation Case on a mantel piece alongside a flower vase

For 2021, the theme is - "Metropolis", which is the first in the Tiffany Art Series to feature famous urban landscapes. The first city to be presented is the "City of Love – Paris".

The Coin:

The Reverse of the $20 (Twenty Dollars) Silver Coin shows the French capital from a bird’s-eye view highlighting selected buildings like the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and the Arc de Triomphe.

The highly detailed huge road network has been sharply brought out with enhanced Smartminting® technology.

The Obverse of the $20 (Twenty Dollars) pictures one of most ornate and extravagant bridges of Paris - the Pont Alexandre III. At right is the Emblem of the Republic of Palau.

With its prominent sculptures and elements this bridge is classified as a French “monument historique”.

The inscription reads - "PARIS".

The Tiffany Art Glass that the series is known for, is done in a completely new way as one sees it wind through the city as a representation of the River Seine. The way the turquoise colored glass appears to literally divide the coin in half is a ground breaking achievement of numismatic technology!
