The 7-Summits included in this Coin Series have featured on several Coins/Coin Series across the world, over the years. Coin Invest Trust (CIT) too has previously issued coins with mountains and flora as their themes.

This seven coin series is a new and highly exclusive limited-edition series dedicated to the world's seven most spectacular peaks, beginning with the Series initiator - DENALI - which was presented during the 2016 American Numismatic Association (ANA) World Fair of Money (WFM) exhibition.

The Reverse of the first coin in the Series issued in 2016 is titled "Denali-Alaska Range - North America - The 7 Summits"

The coins have been minted in breath-taking highly detailed, three-dimensional topographic relief with its exclusive "Smartminting" technology which is the hallmark of CIT's innovative Silver Coin Minting technology, with a refined selective colour application, that accentuates the mountain ridges and valleys, these coins are a beautiful and fascinating numismatic work of art.

All the coins in the Series are being minted by B.H. Mayer's Kunstprageanstalt GmbH.

The "DENALI" Coin was followed by three other issues so far - "MOUNT EVEREST" (2017), "ACONCAGUA" (2018) and "MOUNT KILIMANJARO" (2019):

The 7-Summits Silver Coin Series:

The fifth Coin in this popular Coin Series depicts the Carstensz Pyramid, named after the Dutch sea-farer and explorer - Jan Carstensz - which was once considered to be the highest mountain of Oceania. Nevertheless, some mountaineers/geologists suggest that it is located on the Australian Continental Plate.  In Indonesia, the mountain is called "Puncak Jaya" (meaning "Victory Peak").

The Summit which is a part of Papua, Indonesia and thus of Asia. It is located in the West of New Guinea.

The Carstensz Pyramid is also the world's largest Gold Mine, which is also the Copper Mine with the lowest production costs in the world and is located in direct sight of the summit

Both the Mines were discovered in 1936, when Jean-Jacques Dozy participated in an expedition to explore the Carstensz Pyramid, which failed to reach the mountain peak.

Over the steep North face is Oceania's highest summit which towers 4884 metres (or 16,024 feet) above sea-level.
