1492) 75 Years of the United Nations (UNO), Luxembourg: A postage stamp of 1.40 Euro issued by Post Luxembourg commemorating the milestone: Date of Stamp issue: 15.09.2020:

In 06/1945, after the Second World War, 50 nations met in San Francisco and founded the United Nations.

Presently, 193 countries worldwide are members of the United Nations and try to defuse conflicts in the world peacefully and in multi-lateral exchange, to find solutions together and to promote human rights.

The motif of this postage stamp issued by Post Luxembourg depicts "Non-Violence", a sculpture by the Swedish artist Carl Fredrik Reutersward, which is a gift from Luxembourg to the United Nations:

The First Day Cover (FDC) is titled "UN75". The postage stamp of 1.40 Euro depicting the sculpture titled "Non-Violence" is affixed at top right.

The special Cancellation Handstamp/Postmark depicts the United Nations logo in the centre and is inscribed "75 ANS NATIONS UNIES" and is of Luxembourg Post Office.

The date of Cancellation is -"15.09.2020".

A Souvenir Sheet (SS) of 10 Postage Stamps of 1.40 Euro each depicting the sculpture titled - "Non Violence".

An individual postage stamp of 1.40 Euro depicting the sculpture - "Non-Violence".
