1461) 75th Anniversary of the United Nations Organisation (UNO), The Netherlands: A Coin-card set of three denominations of 0.50 Euros, 0.20 Euros and 0.05 Euros minted by the Royal Dutch Mint to celebrate the milestone: Year of Coin-card issue: 2020:

In 2020, it has been 75 years since the Second World War ended. The United Nations Organisation (UNO) was founded shortly after that. 

It is an International Organisation, established by 51 countries on 24.10.1945, for the specific purpose to maintain International peace and security. Presently it has a membership of 193 countries and almost all the world's sovereign States are members of the UNO.

On 24.10.2020, The Netherlands will celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the UN at The Hague.

The Royal Dutch Mint is celebrating the milestone by bringing out  a Coin-card in red, white and blue packaging containing 5, 20 and 50 Dutch Euro Cents of 2020 - the sum of the anniversary number 75 !!

On the Front and Back of the Coin-card, doves of peace are depicted flying on the Front and Back of this Coin-card. 
This Face of the Coin Card displays the three denominations issued in the set - 50, 20 & 5 Euro Cents.


 This Face of the Coin Card depicts the right-facing effigy of King Willem Alexander, King of The Netherlands.

The specifications of the coins contained in the Coin-card are:




0.50 Euros:

Metal Composition: Nordic Gold; Weight:7.80 grams ; Diameter/Size: 24.25 mm; Edge: Regular, fine indentations; Coin Quality: Brilliant Uncirculated (BU); Mint: Royal Dutch Mint; Year: 2020.

0.20 Euros:

Metal Composition: Nordic Gold; Weight:5.74 grams Diameter/Size: 22.25` mm; Edge: Smooth with seven indentations; Coin Quality: Brilliant Uncirculated (BU); Mint: Royal Dutch Mint; Year: 2020.

0.05 Euros:

Metal Composition: Copper covered Steel; Weight:3.92 grams Diameter/Size: 21.25 mm; Edge: Smooth; Coin Quality: Brilliant Uncirculated (BU); Mint: Royal Dutch Mint; Year: 2020.

Mintage of all three coins/Coin-card will be determined on 24.10.2020 depending on demand.
