The Buffalo Girl Herder/Banner presents the Obverse and Reverse of the 1 Oz round/Coin against a background image of wild Buffaloes grazing in a plain.

Introducing the 1 oz Silver Round “Buffalo Girl,” a stunning homage to the unbridled spirit of the American frontier.

The Coin/Round:

On the Obverse, this round features an artistic portrayal of a Native American woman on the obverse embodying strength and resilience.

Traditionally, Native American women did not wear headdresses, but the Scottsdale Mint was inspired by the story of Minnie Hollow Wood, who as a young Lakota woman, earned the right to wear a war bonnet due to the valour she displayed in combat against the U.S. Calvary in the Battle of Little Big Horn in 1876 when she would have been approximately 20 years old.

The peripheral inscriptions are - "9999 FINE SILVER".

On the Reverse, the American buffalo stands majestically, gazing directly into the eyes of the holder. This powerful imagery conveys the strength and timeless symbolism of the buffalo, reinforcing the deep connection to the American frontier.
