About "Fauna 2021 - Cabarceno Nature Park, Spain":
This Wildlife Paradise, located 17 kilometers from Santander, the capital of Cantabria, is home to around 1,100 animals belonging to more than one hundred species, in its 750 hectares expanse.
It has a spectacular karst landscape where elephants, giraffes, hippos, ostriches, camels, tigers, zebras, rhinos coexist in a state of semi-freedom ...
In its over 31-year history, the Cantabrian Park has become an international benchmark in research, reproduction and safeguarding programs for endangered species.
It holds several records, including having the largest reserve of brown bears in Europe - more than 70 - and the largest Gorilla Enclosure in Spain.
It is the only place in the world where more Elephants have been born outside Africa - 22 - in number.
It is an ideal place to spend the day with the family. It has numerous recreational areas, picnic areas, viewpoints, lakes, botanical routes, cafes, restaurants and a children's playground. It can be visited by car, on foot, by bicycle or from the air by cable car.
