A Coin Set of circulation coins minted by the India Government Mint (IGM), Mumbai in 2023:

This face of the stand-alone Coin Card showcases the Reverses of the five circulation coins of the denominations of - Re. 1/-, Rs. 2/-, Rs.5/-, Rs.10/- and Rs.20/-. The coins are placed against a background representation of the Indian Flag. 

Each coin bears the inscription on the upper periphery -"75th YEAR OF INDEPENDENCE". In the centre is the "logo" and inscription of the "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" (in Hindi) and the denomination of each coin. At the bottom is a representation of the Dandi March/Salt Satyagrah of Mahatma Gandhi.

The Coin Card is also titled - "75th YEAR OF INDEPENDENCE" and bears the logo of the 75th Year Mahotsav celebration.

In the background at top right is the stylised "Chakra" of the Indian flag.

At the bottom is the name of the issuing mint - "INDIA GOVERNMENT MINT, MUMBAI (A unit of Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Ltd.)" (in both Hindi and English) and the legend - "CIRCULATION COINS 2023".

This face of the stand-alone Coin Card showcases the Obverses of the five circulation coins with the Ashok Lion Capitol emblem of the Government of India in the centre, with the slogan "Satyamev Jayate" (in Hindi - below it). The coins are placed against a background representation of the Indian Flag. 

The name of the country - "BHARAT" (at Centre left) and "INDIA" (at centre right) has been engraved.

In the background is the stylised "Chakra" of the Indian flag and the logo of the G20 Presidency of India during 2023.

At bottom right is mentioned - "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" (in Hindi).

Denomination: One Rupee

Diameter: 20.00 mm; Weight: 3.09 grams; No. of Serrations: Nil; Metal Composition: Ferritic Stainless Steel.

Denomination: Two Rupees:

Diameter: 23.00 mm; Weight: 4.07 grams; No. of Serrations: 50; Metal Composition: Ferritic Stainless Steel.

Denomination: Five Rupees:

Diameter: 25.00 mm; Weight: 6.74 grams; No. of Serrations: Nil; Metal Composition: Nickel Brass.

Denomination: Ten Rupees:

Diameter: 27.00 mm; Weight: 7.74 grams; No. of Serrations: 100; Metal Composition: (Outer Ring) Nickel Brass, (Centre Piece) Nickel Silver.

Denomination: Twenty Rupees:

Diameter: 27.00 mm (12-Edged Polygon); Weight: 8.54 grams; No. of Serrations: Nil; Metal Composition: (Outer Ring) Nickel Silver, (Centre Piece) Nickel Brass.

The Coin Cover is titled - "NEW COIN SERIES 2023" (at the top in both Hindi and English).

In the centre is the "Chakra" taken from the Indian Flag.

At centre right is given the logo of the "G20 Bharat - 2023 - INDIA", of which India was the President/Convener for the year 2023, before handing over the baton to Brazil for 2024. The slogan/motto of Indian stint was - "VASUDHAIV KUTUMBKAM. ONE EARTH. ONE FAMILY. ONE FUTURE."

On top left is given the logo of the 75th Year of Independence Celebration/Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav logo.

In the background is a stylised representation of the Indian Flag.

At the bottom is a representation of the Dandi March/Salt Satyagrah of Mahatma Gandhi.
