On 27.03.2020, the United Nations Postal Administration (UNPA) has issued a sheet of ten stamps in the denominations of USD $1.20 each, which features 10 global actions that people can take in their daily lives to confront the climate crisis and help the planet.

This special event sheet is aimed at promoting the "ACT NOW Climate Action Campaign".

"ACT NOW" is the United Nations global call to individual action on climate change. The campaign is a critical part of the United Nations coordinated efforts to raise awareness, expand ambition and promote action for climate change and accelerate implementation of the Paris agreement.

Primarily an online and social media campaign, "ACT NOW" educates and encourages individual actions, mainly by promoting the adjustment of consumption patterns.

The campaign primarily focusses on the following ten action points:

- 5 minute showers

- Drive Less

- Meat-free meals

- Local produce

- Recycle

- Lights off

- Unplug

- Refill & Reuse

- Zero Waste Fashion

- Bring your own Bag

By changing our habits and routines and making choices that have less harmful effects on the environment, we have the capacity to confront the  climate challenge. Small changes can make a big difference if everyone works together and becomes a part of the "ACT NOW" movement

"ACT NOW" has also invited people from around the world to share their individual contributions to climate change.

The Stamp Sheet issued the United Nations Postal Administration (UNPA):

    1. This list has been arrived at by the UNO after collating a lot of studies. We all need to follow these guidelines, so I thought I would share on my blog.
