1094) Jerusalem, Eternal City, Israel: A Commemorative Coin issued by the Holy Land Mint, Jerusalem, Israel on 14.05.2018:

The Cover of the Coin Album, shows "Jerusalem - the Eternal City" which is holy to Christians, Jews and Muslims. Also seen on the cover is President of the United States of America Donald Trump in a firm handshake with Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu

On 14.05.2018, at the inauguration ceremony of the American Embassy in Jerusalem, Ambassador David Friedman commented that President Trump was opening the Embassy in Jerusalem, the holy city which President Abraham Lincoln had so loved and dreamed of visiting.

Voted overwhelmingly by the two Houses of Congress, the American Embassy Act became Law in 1995 and was reaffirmed by the Senate in 2017. The Law called for the proclamation of Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel and the relocation of the American Embassy to Jerusalem.

At the ceremony, Friedman said that the USA was keeping its promise to the American people to move the American Embassy to the capital of Israel and that this event could not have taken place without the leadership and decision of President Trump.

The city of Jerusalem Coin forged in pure silver is a tangible expression of the eternity of the beloved holy city.
The Obverse of the Coin is placed on the inside page of the Coin Album and shows the city of Jerusalem in continuation with the front cover image. At bottom right underneath the text is an image of the American flag merging with the Israeli flag in a symbolism that shows the deep bonds of unity forged between the two countries.

The image engraved on this face of the coin is that of the logo of the Holy Land Mint, Jerusalem.
