1568) "The Wolverine",Tuvalu Island: Ninth Coin issue in the "Marvel Bullion Coin Series" issued by Perth Mint, Australia on behalf of Tuvalu Island: Year of Coin issue : 2020 (with Year of issue engraved as 2021):

The Wolverine is a 2013 Superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character "Wolverine". It is the sixth instalment in the X-Men" film series and the second instalment in the trilogy of Wolverine films "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" (2009) and a direct sequel to "X-Men: The Last Stand".

The film trilogy stars Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine. Following the events of "X-Men: The Last stand", Logan travels to Japan, where he engages an old acquaintance in a struggle that has lasting consequences. Stripped of his healing powers, Wolverine must battle deadly Samurai.

Another film titled "Logan" was released in 2017.

The Commemorative Coin:

The Header/Banner is titled "MARVEL Wolverine 1 OZ Silver Coin and shows the Reverse of the Coin placed against an image of Wolverine, the character.

On the Reverse of the $1 (One Dollar) Silver Bullion Coin is seen an image of Wolverine with his claws out, ready to do battle with his opponent(s).

The inscriptions are "WOLVERINE" (across the centre of this face) and "MARVEL" (at centre right).

On the Obverse of the $1 (One Dollar) Silver Bullion Coin is depicted an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials "IRB" appear below the Queen's neck.

The peripheral inscriptions are "ELIZABETH II. 1 DOLLAR. TUVALU. 1 OZ. 9999 Ag. 2021".

Remarks: Each coin comes in a capsule and sealed in rolls of 20.
