This 2 Oz Silver Coin with partial gold gilding is dedicated to the main protector of Dharma - the "MAHAKALA" (The Protector of Dharma in Buddhism and Hinduism symbolically representing the "Great Passage of Time").

On the Reverse of the 2000 Francs partially Gold plated Silver Coin is seen an image of the "The Mahakala", (symbolically representing the "Great Passage of Time"), the main protector of Dharma in Tibetan Buddhism and Hinduism.
He sits with a gilt sword and a gold crown of five skulls (which represent the transmutation of the Five "Kleshas" - negative afflictions - into the "Five Wisdoms").
The Coin has an antique finish and high relief. There is a selective gold gilding. On top is the inscription "MAHAKALA".
In the background are seen on a stylised decorative surface images of demons and mythical birds who pay obeisance to the Mahakala (representing the "Five "kleshas" which get transmuted in the "Five Wisdoms", with the passage of time).
On the Obverse of the 2000 Francs partially Gold plated Silver Coin is inscribed "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" ("Republic of Cameroon").
In the centre is the Coat of Arms of Cameroon, below which is the inscription - Ag 999 (metal Composition), 2000 Francs CFA (Denomination), "2020" (Year of issue) and MW (mint mark of the Mint of Poland).
