About Fauna/Flora - "Island Birds of Martinique, Guadeloupe and Reunion Islands and Brittany," France:


The Block of four Stamps is titled "Oiseaux Des Isles" (meaning "Birds of the Islands") and shows the locations of the three islands and the Map of France on the Block.

This Block (Set of 4 stamps) is  dedicated to 4 critically endangered birds on the Red List of breeders and includes four Overseas Birds which are endemic species for each of the islands.

The designs feature the Birds in their natural environment.

The bottom of the block includes the design of each of the islands concerned: Martinique, Guadeloupe and Réunion. For the metropolis, the region concerned is mainly Brittany.
