About Oceanographic Museum Of Monaco – The Coral Reef:

ln Monaco, the commitment to Corals dates back several decades. 

Protecting Coral Reefs is at the crossroads of responding to climate change, preserving biodiversity around the world and protecting the ocean for the benefit of the communities that depend on it. 

With its new temporary exhibition titled -  "Immersion", the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco offers a virtual and interactive dive on the Great Barrier Reef, to meet the emblematic species that inhabit it, and the megafauna. 

Visitors are invited to discover the secrets of Coral and their superpo­wers, to discover what are the solutions to preserve this real treasure and to marvel at the intimate life of the coral reef.

The Miniature Sheet (MS) showcases the three stamps issued in the set of 1.10, 1.40 and 1.90 Euros. It is titled - "Musee oceanographique de Monaco - Le Corail" (meaning " Oceanographic Museum of Manaco - The Coral").


The First Day Cover (FDC) bears a Cancelled Miniature Sheet (MS). It is titled - "Principaute de Monaco" ("Principality of Monaco").

The Special Cancellation Handstamp/Postmark bears a stylised image of a Coral reef in the centre. The cancellation date is - "11.06.2020".
