1786) "Hunfilex-2022"- ("Stamp World Championship"), Budapest, Hungary: Magyar Posta (Hungarian Post) has issued a set of two Se-tenant Postage Stamps featuring the iconic Chain Bridge in Budapest of the values of 200+200 HUF (Hungarian Forint) each: Date of Stamps issue: 08.04.2021:

1786) "Hunfilex-2022"-   ("Stamp               World Championship"), Budapest, Hungary:       Magyar Posta     (Hungarian Post) has   issued  a   set  of two Se-tenant Postage Stamps   featuring      the iconic   Chain    Bridge    in   Budapest     of    the    values    of   200+200      HUF           (Hungarian Forint) each: Date of Stamps issue: 08.04.2021:

 After 1971, in 2022 Budapest will again be the location for the Stamp World Championship.

 To mark and support the occasion, Magyar Posta has issued a set of two special stamps with a surcharge. The HUF 200 surcharge on the stamps will be donated to support the realisation of the exhibition.

The National Federation of Hungarian Philatelists is organising a Stamp World Championship in Budapest with the support of the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP) and the Federation of European Philatelic Associations (FEPA)

Philatelists and everyone interested from all corners of the world will participate in this prestigious event planned for the spring of 2022 to be held in the Hungarian capital, which is deservedly noted for its beauty.

The aim of the pair of stamps being released now is to draw the attention of Hungarian and international stamp collectors to the competition in 2022 and to devote the proceeds from the surcharge to supporting its realisation.

The Se-tenant Stamps:

In addition the images, the logos of the FIP and FEPA feature below the event’s official logo. 

On the First Day Cover (FDC), there is a map showing the districts of Budapest. The FDC is titled -"HUNfilex, 2022, BUDAPEST".

The special postmark/Handstamp also features the logo of the event and a schematic drawing of the Chain Bridge. The date of cancellation is - "08.04.2021".
