About Europa 2021 - Stamps:
EUROPA Stamps are special stamps issued by European postal administrations.
They bear the official EUROPA logo, a PostEurop registered trademark under the aegis of PostEurop in which Europe is the central theme.
EUROPA stamp issues are among the most collected and most popular stamps in the world and have been issued for over 60 years.
Every year a new theme is assigned by PostEurop and all participating countries issue stamps with their own interpretation of the theme. The theme for 2021 is "Endangered National Wildlife".

About Europa 2021 - "Endangered National Wildlife Stamps issued by Posten Norge (Norwegian Post):
This year’s PostEurop stamp theme is ‘Endangered National Wildlife’, and Posten Norge (Norwegian Post) has depicted two found in Norway, which are critically endangered.
These beautiful stamps feature species that are locally registered from critically endangered through to near threatened.
The Stamps:
The two postage Stamps of 20g each, depicting a Puffin and a Bumble Bee.
Bumblebees:
Recent years have seen a sharp decline in many Bumblebee species in Europe and North America, due mainly to changes in Agricultural methods over the past century.
Three species of bumblebee are classified as endangered in Norway. Bumblebees play a crucial role in Norway's ecosystems as they pollinate fruit and berries and transfer grains of pollen and genetic material to other plants.
Puffins:
In the 1990s, there were approximately two million breeding pairs of puffins in Norway, with a quarter of these found on the islands of Røst.
Over the past two decades the numbers have gradually decreased due to a lack of food. The large shoals of herring fry that normally swim past the Røst islands during the hatching season are now absent due to overfishing. This, in turn, has reduced the reproductive success of puffins.
The First Day Cover (FDC) shows a Puffin in flight at left. The two Cancelled Stamps are affixed at top right.
The Special Cancellation Handstamp/Postmark is in the shape of a flight path of a bumblebee and is of Oslo Post Office and is dated "23.04.2021".
