This MyStamp Series from Portugal Post features the adventures of Tori, who is a time traveller and Stamp Collector, who goes on hilarious adventures with his wonderful travelling companion - Pisco. This is the third edition (2019) of the popular Stamp Series.

Tori received a Christmas present "Ovotão" (the first machine that allows special children - stamp collectors - to travel through space and time ....).

Since 2017, from the two central figures - Tori and Pisco all adventures  portrayed on Portuguese stamps unfold.

The two characters are time travellers, in a flying machine that works on seals. 

Each issue represents a theme and an adventure with chronologies, subjects, curiosities and images that are being built in the course of a book.

The triple characters of Tori, Pisco and Ovotão, aim to be a form of projective identification of younger readers, graphically worked to be current, enigmatic and adventurous.

The 2019 Stamp issue:

The Cover of the Stamp Album brought out by Portuguese Post in 2019 is titled - "My Stamp Album - The Adventures of Tori & Co."

a) This is an image of Ovotão the first machine that allows special creatures - stamp collectors - to travel in space and time.

At lower centre is Tori, the traveller stamps collector, standing on a ladder and putting Christmas presents in the time travel machine to share it with children during his travels. An elf helps him with loading the presents.

b) The second image shows Tori in his spaceship distributing the Christmas presents to a little child.

c) The native breeds of Portugal are next on Tori's travel plans. They are part of the country's historical and cultural heritage and they are used to make high quality products like - meat, milk, eggs and even clothing. 

There are 47 native livestock breeds in Portugal, but several are under threat of extinction.

It is important that all citizens contribute towards their preservation. Here, one can see six native livestock breeds of Portugal, which in this issue are from other species than those represented in the 2017 issue like - pigs, chickens and donkeys.

They are:

The Serra da Estrela Sheep, the Bisaro Pig, the Portuguese Sleckled Hen, the Alentejo Pig, the Alentijo Cow and the Miranda Donkey.

d) In this image, Tori learns about the various breeds mentioned above.

e) These costumes are from the Alentejo and Algarve regions. They seem to be related to professions and also to social status.

In other words, "whether a person is rich or poor". For example, the traditional outfit of women in the Algarve is a flowery headscarf and black felt hat on the head,a long shirt with a band of ribbons, a white petticoat with lace, a long-sleeved flowery blouse, a small white or flowery apron, white linen stockings with lace trim and calf-high boots.

For the men, black trousers, white socks, black calf-high boots or black shoes, white shirt, black waistcoat, red or another colour neckerchief around the neck, black or dark blue sash.

People still wear these traditional clothes at traditional festivals, fairs, to go to a restaurant etc.

f) Pisco and Tori love tea. They can never decide which tea they should have on Ovatao during their trips, because they like to try new flavours. After all, there are around 3,000 varieties of tea in the world. They can differ in flavour, aroma etc.

"Where was tea discovered?" asks Pisco. Apparently it was in China around 2737 BCE when there was a Chinese emperor called Shen-Nong who liked to drink boiled water, believing that it was beneficial. Until the day when completely by chance, some leaves fell into the hot water and it tasted very nice.

g) Next Tori & Pisco learn about the magic of Harry Potter through stamps.
