2178) "My Stamp Album - The Adventures of Tori & Co." ("O Meu Album De Selos" As avebturas de Pori & Companhia"), Portugal: Correos Portugal (Portuguese Post) began this Stamp Series in 2017, where Tori & his friends travel through space and time learning about the country's history, economy, technology, Natural Resources etc.: Year of fifth issue: 2021:
This MyStamp Series from Portugal Post features the adventures of Tori, who is a time traveller and Stamp Collector, who goes on hilarious adventures with his wonderful travelling companion -Pisco.
Tori received a Christmas present "Ovotão" (the first machine that allows special children - stamp collectors - to travel through space and time ....).
Since 2017, from the two central figures - Tori and Pisco all adventures portrayed on Potuguese stamps unfold.
The two characters are time travellers, in a flying machine that works on seals.
Each issue represents a theme and an adventure with chronologies, subjects, curiosities and images that are being built in the course of a book.
The triple characters of Tori, Pisco and Ovotão, aims to be a form of projective identification of younger readers, graphically worked to be current, enigmatic and adventurous.
In 2020, a new character was introduced and, given the success of "Professor Cosmio", Portuguese Post has decided to keep him in 2021, continuing to present curiosities and bringing good mood to the moments shared with Tori and Pisco. Once again, the illustrations make the characters experience fun and great learning moments.
This year, the fifth volume of this new series of books, My Album of Stamps, has been launched with one more surprise. Portuguese Post has added a small philatelic glossary to help younger people entering this philatelic universe.
This is a bilingual edition containing 12 philatelic issues for a total of 28 stamps and a Miniature Sheet.
The 2021 Stamp issue:
a) This is an image of Ovotão the first machine that allows special creatures - stamp collectors - to travel in space and time running behind a train with Tori standing on the engine and Pisco keeping a safe distance from him.
