The second Card in a Tarot Deck - "The Magician": The Tarot describes the Fool's Journey through Life's experiences:

"The Magician" features on the second release in the New Zealand Mint's exciting new Tarot Cards Coin Collection on behalf of the Niue Islands, struck in 1oz pure silver. 

The Tarot Cards Coin Collection continues with Card number One, "The Magician". This is the number of new beginnings and opportunities. The coin shows a coloured and engraved representation of The Magician on a rectangular coin - to mirror the shape of a Tarot card.

The Magician is a powerful card to receive, it encourages you to dream big and go for it, so this would make a unique gift idea as well as being perfect for anyone interested in Tarot or coin collecting.

The Coin:

The Reverse of the $2 (Two Dollars- NZD) Silver Coin shows a coloured and engraved representation of "The Magician" on a rectangular coin - to mirror the shape of a Tarot Card.

The Magician stands with one arm stretched upwards towards the Universe, and the other pointing down to the earth. His positioning represents his connection between the spiritual and material realms. 

The Obverse of the $2 (Two Dollars - NZD) has a striking engraved border around the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. 

The inscriptions are - 'ELIZABETH II. NIUE, 2021. 2 DOLLARS".

The Coin  is legal tender in Niue.

Country of issue: Niue Island; Year: 2021; Denomination/Face Value: $2 (Two Dollars - NZD); Metal Composition: .999 Fineness Silver (Ag); Weight: 1.0 Oz or 31.107 grams; Diameter/Size: 53.0 mm x 36.0 mm; Coin Quality: Proof with applied colour; Mintage: 2,000 pieces; Special Technique: Ultra High Relief; Presentation Box/Case: Yes; Certificate of Authenticity (COA): Yes.  A holographic sticker on the packaging confirms the serial number for each coin. This is a unique addition to any Tarot or coin collection;

Remarks - The coin is presented in custom-made book-style packaging which offers the meaning behind the card and the Certificate of Authenticity alongside the coin.
