3431) Kapka naděje is one of the oldest Czech foundations which has presented silver Mandalas: Year of Mandalas issue: 2024:

Kapka naděje is one of the oldest Czech foundations. Since 2000, it has been helping to save the lives of child patients with serious illnesses and has implemented hundreds of charity projects during its existence.

The latest charitable initiative, which is the result of cooperation between Kapka naděje and the Czech Mint, takes the form of silver mandalas, the design of which is the work of the foundation's founder, Vendula Pizingerová.

A mandala is a mystical figure. Its name, which comes from ancient Indian Sanskrit, can be translated simply as a circle, but its meaning is not so simple.

It represents infinity, perfection, balance, unity, ... It serves as a tool for relaxation, meditation and self-discovery, but also for solving problems or fulfilling wishes.

Because each of us needs hope, health and love in life, they have become the main motif of charity medals.

By acquiring a blue mandala of hope, a green mandala of health or a red mandala of love, you will be donating to a good cause - namely child psychiatry - and at the same time getting a special talisman.

"If our activity helps save just one human life, then it's worth it," says mandala author Vendula Pizingerová.
