1992) "Aquarius," Niue Island: "Signs of the Zodiac Coin Series": First Coin in the Series features the Zodiacal Sign of Aquarius: A Silver $1 (One Dollar-NZD) issued by the Czech Mint on behalf of Niue Island: Date/Year of Coin issue: 01/2021:

12 Zodiac Signs:

Twelve constellations are located in the imaginary celestial belt that surrounds the planet Earth. The sun, which slowly moves across the sky throughout the year, remains in each of these constellations for about a month, and we call this cycle the zodiac.

Each of us has a zodiac sign corresponding to the date we were born. This sign then affects our nature and our destiny and in the form of a talisman can bring us happiness.

Such a talisman will be a non-traditional oval coin of the Czech Mint minted from silver and embellished with attractive coloring.

The Mint has been/will be issuing one sign every month from January 2021 to December 2021.

In January 2021, it was the turn of the "Aquarius". The remaining signs have appeared/will appear on the coins one each every month in the following order

January 2021 - Aquarius

February 2021 - Pisces

March 2021 - Aries

April 2021 - Taurus

May 2021 - Gemini

June 2021 - Cancer

July 2021 - Leo

August 2021 - Virgo

September 2021 - Libra

October 2021 - Scorpio

November 2021 - Sagittarius

December 2021 - Capricorn

Sign of Zodiac - "AQUARIUS":

This Silver Coin of the Czech Mint from the 12 Signs of the Zodiac Coin Series is a valuable talisman for collectors, and, particularly, for everyone who was born under the sign of Aquarius.

"Aquarius", (Latin for "Aquarius"), is one of the oldest observed constellations in the Zodiac.

It is associated with a number of legends, but in all of them it has the form of a man with a bucket, a jug or other vessel.

In Egyptian mythology, Aquarius caused the flooding of the Nile, while, in Greek myths it was Zeus who punished sinful humanity with a stream of water.

The celestial ruler of those born under the sign of Aquarius is the planet Uranus, which in astrology is a symbol of change, coups, unrest, but also originality.

Aquarius-born people are often given a desire for freedom and the demolition of old order. Therefore, they often become thinkers, discoverers, artists and visionaries who are ahead of their time.

Sometimes, however, they also show inadaptability and a tendency to be different at all costs. Surprisingly, the element of Aquarius is not water, but air which signifies extraterrestrial thinking.

The Coin:

This Coin is of a non-traditional oval shape bears a colored image of Aquarius in the form of an ancient man with an amphora on the Reverse of the $1 (One Dollar - NZD) Silver Coin.

Photographs or computer graphics were not used as a template for coloring, but the design was created by using an original watercolor painting

The relief in the background behind Aquarius presents a disk with a dozen zodiac signs. The composition of the reverse side is supplemented with a Latin inscription of "AQUARIUS" and an astrological symbol.

On the Obverse of the $1 (One Dollar - NZD) Silver Coin, since the coins of the Czech Mint are licensed by a foreign issuer - the island of Niue - is depicted Niue Island's National Emblem, the denominational value of "ONE DOLLAR (NZD)" and the year of issue - " 2021". The periphery is surrounded by twelve astrological signs.
