In Disney’s 1967 animated film The Jungle Book, the giant
python Kaa was brought to life by the high-pitched, raspy voice of Sterling
Holloway.
The devious snake attempts to hypnotise Mowgli by singing “Trust In
Me,” a seductive lullaby meant to mesmerize the boy into a deep trance before
wrapping his coils around him and eating the young man-cub. Here one can fall
under the spell of this mesmerising coin that recreates that scene in brilliant
colour.

The Reverse of the $2 (Two Dollars) Silver Coin captures the moment when Kaa has Mowgli safely
tucked into his coils. But, as everyone knows, just seconds later Shere Khan
the Bengal tiger disrupts the snake’s concentration, allowing the boy to
escape.
In addition to the vibrant colour and unusual shape—it even features a
hollow center to mark the ancient jungle ruins where he lives—this coin also
features a unique antique finish that adds a striking level of depth and
dimension to the already fantastic design!
This 2025-dated legal-tender $2 coin was released on
behalf of Niue, a small island nation in the South Pacific Ocean, and comes
displayed in its original mint packaging that consists of a Jungle Book-themed
coin case lined with velvet.
