2393) "Curious about the Future?", Republic of Palau: Coin issue Coordinated by Coin Invest Trust (CIT): A $10 (Ten Dollars) Silver Antique Finish Coin presents a theatrical view of what the Future could hold: Date of Coin issue: 2022:
Curious about the future?
Just what does the future hold? Will there be flying cars and hologram messaging? Will robots walk among us? We may never know in this lifetime, or even our great-great grand childrens’ time, but that doesn’t stop people from dreaming up the future and what it may look like.
Whether it’s a utopian society, something out of a horror movie, or something in between, we will forever be looking forward and wondering.
Who is not curious about the future? This person definitely is. Thus he opens the magic curtain to discover what he can expect in the future.
The above images show the Coin placed on Edge in a scene reminiscent of a theatre stage
The Coin:
This new coin minted by Coin Invest Trust (CIT) on behalf of the Republic of Palau taps into the wonderment of the possibilities.
On the Reverse, this $10 (Ten Dollars) Silver Coin shows a man pulling aside a curtain revealing the future: a robot, a suspension railway, a flying car, and more. The man protrudes from the coin, and shows the observer a fantastical scene. The coin is titled "DAYDREAMER FUTURE - 2022"
Thanks to the enhanced smartminting® technology this coin pictures this story in an impressive contrast of antique finish in front of the curtain and a sophisticated coloured proof area behind it showing futuristic vehicles, buildings and robots, all in ultra-high relief.
The coin makes one feel like an observer sitting in a theatre and everybody is looking forward to what is behind the curtain. This coin helps create the illusion of a theatre stage.
A recessed side with an unusually high rim allows the observer of the coin to be immersed in the illusion.
On the Obverse of the $10 (Ten Dollars) Silver Coin is presented the emblem of the Republic of Palau in the centre.
On the upper periphery is the name of the issuing country - "REPUBLIC OF PALAU", while on the lower periphery is the denomination of the Coin "10$".
