3386) "Puratić's Wheel", Croatia: "Croatian Innovators Coin Series": Croatian National Bank, in cooperation with the Croatian Mint has brought out Gold and Silver editions of this innovation: Date/Year of Coin issue: 2024:
The Header/Banner presents the Gold 100 Euro Coin against a background representation of a fishing trawler's Hawser rope.
The Croatian National Bank, in cooperation with the Croatian Mint, presents a new edition, "Puratić's Wheel" , dedicated to another great innovator from Croatia, in the commemorative series of numismatic coins "Croatian Innovators".
Gold and silver numismatic coins of various denominations are available, each crafted with special attention to detail to honour the innovator and his invention.

The gold numismatic coin "Puratić's wheel" weighs 1 ounce (31.103 grams), has a nominal value of 100 euros and was minted in 100 pieces.

The silver numismatic coin "Puratić's wheel" weighs 1 ounce (31.103 grams), has a nominal value of 4 euros and was minted in 1000 pieces.
This coin, whose designer is Jelena Mavrić Varga , tells a story that may not be widely known, but deserves to be told.
The invention was patented by Puratić in 1954, and in 1963 it began to be used in Croatian fisheries.
From then until his passing away, the inventor filed more than 20 fishing-related innovations with the US Patent Office.
- Each of them comes in a Gift Box/Presentation Case with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA)signed by the governor of the Croatian National Bank.
