About Europa 2021 - Stamps:

EUROPA Stamps are special stamps issued by European postal administrations. 

They bear the official EUROPA logo, a PostEurop registered trademark under the aegis of PostEurop in which Europe is the central theme.

About Europa 2021 - "Endangered National Wildlife Stamps issued by Greenland Post:

 PostEurop stamp theme is ‘Endangered National Wildlife’, and Greenland Post has depicted  two species which have been identified under this category.

These beautiful stamps feature species that are locally registered from "Critically Endangered" through to "Near Threatened".

The EUROPA Stamps issued by Greenland Post feature the "White-fronted Goose" and "Harbour Seals":

The Greenland Institute of Nature and Aarhus University, Denmark, have jointly prepared a Red List. 

It is a list of Greenlandic animals and plants’ threatening status and was commissioned by the Government of Greenland at the Department of Fisheries, Hunting and Agriculture. 

According to the latest Red List, which is from 2018, there are few animal species in Greenland that are considered endangered. 

However, from those that are considered to be endangered, POST Greenland has chosen The Greenland White-fronted Goose, which is assessed as moderately endangered and Harbour Seals, which are assessed as critically endangered.

The postage stamp of 17.00 DKK,  depicts  the White-fronted Goose, while the stamp of 19.00 DKK depicts the Harbour Seal. 

The First Day Cover (FDC) shows the White-fronted Goose and Harbour Seal at left. 

The two EUROPA stamps are affixed at top right. The special Cancellation Handstamp is of Tasilaq Post Office and the Cancellation is dated - "08.06.2021".
