Rajeev Prasad do also share info on Gibraltor country ...find the Marvel of nature wherein a rock covers over half of a country spectacular."
The Queen's effigy can only be placed on British Coinage through official channels - Royal Mint and Royal Post. Therefore most of the private mints take one of the smaller countries to feature on coins on her - like Niue Island, Gibraltar, Falkland Islands etc, whose names can be used by Law. I have a couple of such coins, sent to me as complimentary gifts by Gibraltar & Niue Island, who have taken this route, for writing posts on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI have several posts on Gibraltar Coinage and Stamps, including their officially circulating coins.
