4341) "Dak E-Bicycle Carried Special Cover from Sambhajinagar to Mumbai, in Maharashtra", in an expedition commencing 14.01.2025 to 21.01.2025, Bharat/India: Bhartiya Dak has issued this Special Cover during MAHAPEX 2025 (Maharashtra Philatelic Exhibition: Date of Special Cover issue: 14.01.2025:
The Special Cover is titled - "Collect, Connect, Celebrate" - The Festival of Stamps - Dak Sewa E-Bicycle Carried Special Cover.
The Special Cover (SC) was posted by Sub Postmaster Kranti Chowk, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and was carried to The Sub Postmaster Taj Mahal S.O. Mumbai after travelling through several important landmarks in Maharashtra.
The date of despatch and cancellation stamp at Kranti Chowk was "14.01.2025" and showcases a bicycle with a bag and a carried box in which the Special Covers were carried.
The Special Cover also carries the signature of the Carrier of the Special Cover.

The information Brochure gives a narration of the following prominent sites across Maharashtra. Each individual site is affixed with a definitive cancelled postage stamp of Re 1/- featuring Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak:
Bibi Ka Maqbara, Chharapati Sambhajinagar:
It is a 17th century mausoleum built by Prince Azam Shah in 1660 in memory of his mother, Dilras Banu Begum.
It is often called the "Taj of the Deccan" due to its resemblance to the Taj Mahal.
The structure features Mughal-style architecture with a central dome, intricate carvings and symmetrical gardens.
The Ellora Caves:
The Ellora Caves not only bear witness to three great religions (Buddhism, Brahminism and Jainism) but they also illustrate the spirit of tolerance, characteristic of ancient India, which permitted these religions to establish their sanctuaries and their communities in a single place.
Panchakki:
It is a water mill located in Chhatrapati Sambhjinagar, showcasing the scientific ingenuity and architecture of medieval India,
It was designed to generate energy via water drawn down from a spring on a mountain.
Shirdi:
Known for the shrine of Sai Baba, Shirdi is a major pilgrimage centre attracting millions who seek spiritual solace and guidance from the teachings of the revered saint.
Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple:
The ancient town of Trimbak is famous for the Trimbakeshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.
It is also the source of the Godavari River and is significant for various religious rituals.
St. Thomas Cathedral:
It is the most notable cathedral in Mumbai.
It is over 300 years old and serves as the church of the Anglican Diocese of Mumbai, part of the Church of North India.
The Gateway of India:
It is an arch monument built in Indo-Saracenic style.
The Foundation stone was laid on March 31st, 1911. Located on the waterfront at Apollo Bunder area at the end of Chhatrapati Shivaji Marg in South Mumbai and overlooks the Arabian sea.
Sanjay Gandhi National Park:
This lush green park in Mumbai is a significant wildlife reserve, home to diverse flora and fauna, and offers recreational activities like trekking and cycling amidst nature.
Siddhivinayak temple:
Located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, it is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Ganesh.
Built in 1801, it is known for its wish-fulfilling deity and attracts millions of devotees.
The temple features a black stone idol with a right bent trunk and a gold-plated dome.
Ghrishneshwar Temple, Verul:
It is also known as Ghrneshwar or Dhushmeshwar Temple & is a Hundu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva,
It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas significant pilgrimage sites fro devotees of Shiva and is situated near the Ellora Caves, making it a popular combined visit destination.
