About Tarot Cards:

For some of us, the thought of Tarot cards inspires visions of a mysterious fortune teller dealing out cards while a foreboding and ominous silence cloaks the colourfully dressed woman in darkness as she discerns the querent's future from what the cards have to say. 

For several others, Tarot cards are used for conventional games where the cards are used without any danger of occult implications. 

No matter what one thinks of Tarot cards, this Card is an absolute beauty replete with symbolism.

"The Wheel of Fortune" Tarot Card presents an image replete with Symbolism:

Tarot decks first appeared in Italy in the 1430s, and unlike regular card decks that number 52 cards consisting of four suits; Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, and Hearts; Tarot card decks have a five suit, - Swords (representing the Air Element), "Wands" (representing the Fire element), "Cups" (representing the Water Element), "Pentacles" (Representing the Coins or the material/ground element). There is also the "Major Arcana" (Major Secrets), of 21 specially illustrated cards called “Triumphs” and an odd card called “The Fool.” (The Major Arcana represents the Fool's journey in Life).

The Wheel of Fortune is the tenth card in the Major Arcana.

It is superbly crafted into a rectangular coin, shaped to reflect a Tarot card.

The Wheel of Fortune Tarot Card:

The Wheel of Fortune is generally an indicator of luck or destiny, and it is a Major Arcana signifier of change. When the Wheel of Fortune appears upright in one's Tarot reading big changes are coming. 

These changes should be for one's greater good, but remember not all change is easy even if it’s leading you to your destiny! 

The upright Wheel of Fortune signals that the universe is working in one's favour to help the querent reach his/her goals. 

The Wheel of Fortune is constantly turning and also represents the ever-changing cycles one goes through in life. This Card is also a karma card so remember to be nice to people on your way up, you may be meeting them again on your way back down.

The Reverse of the $2 (Two Dollars- NZD) Silver Coin a coloured and engraved representation of "THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE" on a rectangular coin - to mirror the shape of a Tarot Card.

The Obverse of the $2 (Two Dollars - NZD) Silver Coin has a striking engraved border around the Public Seal /Emblem of the Government of Niue. 

The inscriptions are - 'TWO DOLLARS. 2023".

The Coin is legal tender in Niue.
