200th Anniversary of the First Passenger Train in Gibraltar:
This official coin celebrates the bicentenary of passenger steam rail travel and is now available for collectors and enthusiasts alike. It is a fitting tribute to one of the most significant milestones in transport history.
The Reverse of the 50 Pence Cupro-nickel Coin shows an early steam engine with its driver standing alongside on the side.
The Obverse of the 50 Pence Cupro-nickel Coin features the Gibraltar Coat of Arms accompanied by the inscription Charles III - King of Gibraltar, the denomination and year 2025.
Note: Each commemorative coin is in uncirculated condition and has been minted and packed in sealed bags of 50.
